How do you spend your Sundays?

December 14th, 2008 at 04:27 pm

I spend mine drinking coffee and watching "Meet The Press" and "The Wall Street Journal Report". After which I will be studying for my finals. Yuck! I have left my place to such negligence due to time crunch and stress level that I can't remember the last time I cleaned it. I HAVE done some (very) light cleaning just so that it doesn't turn into a pig sty. However it needs a thorough "Fall cleaning"- cleaning out all the closets, donating everything I don't need to cut clutter and to receive tax benefits next year and all and all a total organization. I also need to go for eye and dentist appointment before the end of the year etc. Oh, and start working out! Too many things to do and too little time!

You sound like my cousin. She spends her Sundays with Meet the Press, etc., then watches football.

I usually play cards with my sister and brother-in-law, and we often have a simple meal together.

I eat breakfast while reviewing the deals on fatwallet. I'll check sale flyers too. Off to the store if there are any good deals. Otherwise, clean clean CLEAN!

i usually get up anytime between 4.30am and 7am (whenever i feel like it but before 8am) and make a coffee for BF and I. then we head off for a 20 min drive to the market, and do our fruit and vege shopping for the week. then we go home (usually after BF has bought something for himself like some new tools, some lego (YES! a 28 year old who buys lego!) or a plant) and I pack the fridge and we make breakfast which is usually an ommelette.
and then unless we have plans we will spend it doing whatever we like which usually involves playing with the dogs, screenprinting, cooking, watching a movie, going shopping, playing computer games, spending time on the internet etc...

i have usually no clothes to wash and saturdays or friday afternoons I usually tidy up the house.

Current Affairs shows, church, brunch, NYT, and leftover laundry, paper grading, housecleaning, etc.
Followed by a nice big dinner with leftovers for at least one weekday. If it's nice, we go for a walk.
Except tonight I have the book club that I moderate for the rich folks.

I try to do nothing on Sunday! Today we cleaned up a little bit because the living/dining room was getting out of control. But I have been sitting on the couch watching tv.

This time of year it's usually tidying up, maybe watching a netflix movie, some reading and just generally taking it easy.

My place is pretty much a pigsty too. Housekeeping's not my thing.
